First Aid Beauty Bump Eraser Body Scrub Review

First Aid Beauty Bump Eraser Body Scrub Review

Body care is the skincare wave this year, and First Aid Beauty Bump Eraser Body Scrub is one of my favorite products!

I mean, look, if you’re gonna take skincare seriously, you have to treat your body just as well as your face. That includes exfoliating a few times per week.

In my opinion, Body Bump Eraser is one of the best body exfoliators on the market that will help smooth out your skin’s texture and even out your skin tone.

Key Ingredients

KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub exfoliant has four key ingredients that will help reduce strawberry skin and rough bumps:

  • 10% AHA: a combination of glycolic acid and lactic acid
  • Bisabilol: a fan favorite soothing agent
  • Licorice root extract: one of my favorite ingredients to reduce dark spots
  • Camellia sinensis leaf extract: another great ingredient for skin brightening
  • Willow bark extract: similar to salicylic acid which helps improve skin’s texture
  • Colloidal oatmeal: one of my favorite ingredients to soothe skin and irritation

Plus, this fast acting body scrub has lovely pumice buffing beads that really help exfoliate skin. I use gently massage it into my skin for a smooth canvas before I start shaving.

Bump Eraser Body Scrub Benefits

Exfoliation is an important part of any skin care routine to remove dead skin cells and improve the overall appearance of the skin by letting the younger, smoother skin underneath shine through.

This process allows you to get rid of stubborn skin texture and even conditions like chicken skin.

I loved this body scrub from First Aid Beauty.

Not only did it make my skin significantly smoother, but the combination of chemical and physical exfoliators helped reduce razor burns from forming.

Plus, it doesn’t have any sort of weird smell, and the grit of the scrub is perfect to mechanically remove dead cells on your body unlike other common scrubs (cough cough, St. Ives).

How to Use KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub

I love using this a few times per week before I shave.

First, start off by washing your body with your favorite body soap.

Then, gently massage about a quarter sized amount of KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub onto wet skin. You can use more product if needed. After rinsing the exfoliant off, you can shave if so desired.

Make sure to finish off with your favorite moisturizer as the acids in KP Bump Eraser can cause dry skin.

Should you try KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub?

By using the First Aid Beauty Bump Eraser Body Scrub, you can easily incorporate exfoliation during your shower a few times per week.

While it’s on the pricier end of body scrubs, I loved the texture of this one way more than other drugstore scrubs like Tree Hut or St. Ives.

Besides the texture, this scrub combines physical exfoliation (scrubbing) with chemical exfoliation.

The glycolic and lactic acids quickly and gently remove dead skin cells, leaving you with smooth and radiant skin after your shower.

Key Features of First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub

In addition to its exfoliating benefits, First Aid Beauty’s Bump Eraser Body Scrub is also formulated with ingredients like aloe vera and chamomile, which provide a unique soothing benefit.

The formula also includes licorice root which I love!

These ingredients can be particularly beneficial for those with sensitive skin, as they can help to reduce the appearance of redness and irritation.

Licorice root in particular will also help get rid of dark spots along with the glycolic and lactic acids in the formula.

One of the coolest features of this scrub is that it works well on parts of your body that are prone to ingrown hairs (like your bikini line and underarms) as the exfoliating agents can help unclog your pores.

First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub and Bundle

If you’ve never tried a body scrub before, you may want to start with something more gentle without any acids in it. But man, I loved this body scrub with 10% AHA.

Overall, First Aid Beauty’s Bump Eraser Body Scrub is a great exfoliation option for people with rough skin, keratosis pilaris, and hyperpigmentation.

The glycolic acid, lactic acid, and other ingredients pack a powerful punch against your skin’s imperfections, and I’m confident that most people who try it will like it.
