Vitamin C is one of my favorite anti-aging ingredients, and Statia C+C Serum is an awesome choice at an affordable price point!
Stratia Vitamin C ($25) is gentle enough for sensitive skin and dry skin, and it’s an easy addition to your daily routine.
In this review, I’ll take a closer look at Stratia’s vitamin C serum and its key ingredients, benefits, and effectiveness.
Benefits of Stratia C+C Serum

Vitamin C is one of the most powerful skincare ingredients because it is an an incredibly powerful antioxidant.
In its pure form, it’s great for neutralizing free radicals caused by environmental stressors.
Other than free radical activity, benefits of Vitamin C include:
- Clearing out dark spots
- Brightening your skin tone
- Building collagen
- Reducing fine lines and wrinkles
- Fighting premature aging
Unfortunately, while it is an antioxidant powerhouse, many formulas are extremely unstable.
But this is why I think Stratia Vitamin C is so damn good.
What makes Stratia C+C Serum so special?
In its lightweight silicone formula, Stratia’s daily antioxidant boost includes two different derivatives of vitamin C:
- L-ascorbic acid (water soluble derivative)
- Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate (oil soluble derivative)
These two are potent but fragile antioxidants.
L Ascrobic Acid
L-ascorbic acid is a well-known form of vitamin C that stimulates collagen production. This improves the appearance of your skin by making it firmer from the inside out.
Since l-ascorbic acid is water soluble, this is not a water free formula. However, it is still incredibly potent.
Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate
Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, on the other hand, is an oil soluble vitamin. Oil soluble derivatives tend to be more stable than ascorbic acid. Plus, it may be more suitable for sensitive skin!
These two forms of vitamin C are a key component! They have a total concentration of 15% which strikes a sweet spot between being effective to fight free radicals and non-irritating.
This powerful serum penetrates skin deeply and will help brighten smooth and firm your skin.

Other Key Ingredients
Another key ingredient in Stratia C+C Serum is ubiquinone, also known as coenzyme Q10. Most vitamin C serums don’t include it!
Unlike other fragile antioxidants, Q10 is produced naturally by the body. However, as you age, you produce less of it.
By applying ubiquinone topically, we can help protect our skin from environmental stressors and uv damage. In turn, this promotes a youthful appearance and helps sooth skin!
In addition to these key ingredients, Stratia C+C Serum also contains vitamin E, another antioxidant that is known to nourish and moisturize the skin.
It is also free from fragrances and other potential irritants, making it a gentle choice for sensitive skin.

Should you try Stratia C+C Antioxidant Serum?
If you’re looking for a vitamin C serum, this is a great choice.
Overall, Stratia’s C+C is a potent antioxidant serum that contains a blend of powerful ingredients, including two different derivatives of vitamin C and ubiquinone, to improve the appearance of the skin and protect it from environmental stressors.
It’s worth noting that while vitamin C serums can be effective for many people, you should consider your own individual skin concerns and needs when choosing skincare products.
I think everyone should patch test any new product before using it on a larger area of your skin, to ensure that it is well-tolerated. Regardless, you’ll tolerate this better than essential oils!
